Starting with Mobile SDK iOS 26.10.0, Xcode 26.6 is required. Developers must upgrade to Xcode 26.6 (which requires macOS 26 Tahoe) to build and run projects using this SDK version. Earlier Xcode versions are not supported.

Q2ModuleInterfaces​

  • Added LogonAuthType struct for authentication audit metadata. This type captures how the user authenticated (credentials, passcode, biometric, Face ID, Touch ID, or external IDP) and whether biometric enrollment is enabled.

  • Added authType optional property on WebServiceRequest to attach authentication metadata to logon requests. When set, the metadata is sent to HQ/Ardent for audit purposes.

Q2UIComponents​

  • Added Base.ComplianceBannerFDIC and Base.ComplianceBannerFDICModel components for rendering FDIC or NCUA compliance logos with labels. The banner supports both pre-authentication and post-authentication placement with theme-aware styling.

  • Added MRDC.ImageCaptureForm and MRDC.ImageCaptureFormModel components for image capture workflows. The form handles camera access, image capture, and preview with accessibility support.

  • Added MRDC.ImagePreviewView component for displaying captured images with zoom and pan gestures.

  • Added sortedByOrder() extension method on Sequence where Element: Auth.LoginButtonItem for sorting button collections by their optional display order.

  • Added roundedCornerWithBorder(lineWidth:borderColor:radius:corners:) extension method on View for rendering views with selective corner rounding and borders.

Q2UIComponents​

  • Moved order property from Auth.FooterLinkItem to its parent class Auth.LoginButtonItem. Since FooterLinkItem inherits from LoginButtonItem, both button items and footer link items continue to have access to the order property. This is an internal refactoring with no API changes.

  • Added comprehensive documentation comments to Auth.LoginButtonItem properties for improved API clarity.

Q2DevApp​

  • Fixed build failure where Q2DevApp could not compile due to missing Q2Observability and Q2ObservabilityFactory module dependencies. These internal observability types no longer leak into DevApp's public interface (MAPP-15315).

Q2UIComponents​

  • Removed placeholder MRDC.CheckPreview component. Real MRDC components now exist in the MRDC namespace (ImageCaptureForm, ImagePreviewView).

Migration Notes​

Xcode 26.6 and macOS 26 (Tahoe) Required​

Mobile SDK iOS 26.10.0 requires Xcode 26.6, which in turn requires macOS 26 (Tahoe). If you are currently using an earlier version of Xcode or macOS, you must upgrade before adopting this SDK release.

What you need:

  • macOS 26 (Tahoe)
  • Xcode 26.6

Attempting to build with earlier Xcode versions will fail. See the System Requirements and Tools and Software guides for detailed setup instructions.

Both Auth.LoginButtonItem and Auth.FooterLinkItem now have access to the order property (footer links inherit it from the parent button class). Use the new sortedByOrder() extension to sort collections by display order:

The order property is optional and defaults to 0 when not set.

MRDC Components​

If your module used the placeholder MRDC.CheckPreview component for testing, replace it with the real MRDC.ImageCaptureForm or MRDC.ImagePreviewView components as appropriate for your use case.
